What happens to my secure folder when I get a new phone? ›

Did you set up the Secure Folder on your new phone before trying to transfer your files? Establish a Secure folder on the new phone. It will be empty. Then use smart switch and transfer the secure folder from old phone to the new phone.

The option would be to move the files out of the secure Folder,transfer to new phone and move to secure Folder if desired.
