For any festivity, the real MVP of the party is an easy, classy dessert that can be whipped up on the fly. We're also all about adding a little *spirit* (ahem, alcohol) to our sweet endings, whether it's spiked snow cones, boozy grilled peaches, or bourbon-y bundt cakes. Then we realized, we're missing chocolate. And we're serious about our chocolate. Presenting no-bake Baileys Bonbons. Not only are these morsels delicious, but also they require a mere four ingredients (plus sprinkles).

No-Bake Baileys Bonbons

(Makes ~14 bonbons)

Spike Your Sweets With This No-Bake Baileys Bonbons Recipe (3)

Ingredients:

  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1/2 cup plus 1 tablespoon heavy cream
  • 3 tablespoons Baileys
  • 1 (10-ounce) bag dark chocolate chips
  • sprinkles

Directions:

1. Place chocolate chips in a heat-proof bowl and set aside.

2. In a small saucepan, bring the cream and butter over medium heat until it become scalding and small bubbles form around the edges of the pan.

3. Immediately turn off heat, and pour hot cream over the chocolate. Let it stand for about 2 minutes.

4. After letting it stand, begin to mix the chocolate and the cream together. The heat of the cream should be hot enough to melt the chocolate. Stir thoroughly. If you keep stirring and it still doesn't melt, pop it in the microwave and heat at 20 second intervals until it melts.

5. When it's all melted, stir in the Baileys.

6. Then, pop it in the fridge for about 3 hours until it hardens. At this point, it should be firm but not so hard that you can't scoop it out.

7. Remove the chocolate from the fridge. Now, it's time to shape the bonbons. You can use an ice cream scoop or melon baller.

8. Once scooped, roll the bonbon between your hands to create a ball. If it seems too hard, don't worry. The heat from your hands will melt the chocolate slightly to make it easier to shape. Place each truffle ball onto a parchment-paper-lined plate.

9. Dip and roll the truffles into a bowl of sprinkles, and you're done! If you are planning on serving the truffles later, keep them in an air-tight container in the fridge.

Bridgerton season 3 will make you happy, sad, and everything in between — at least, according to Adjoa Andoh. Andoh stars as Lady Danbury on the hit Netflix series, and following the launch of International Delight's limited-edition Bridgerton-inspired creamers and iced coffee, we got up close and personal with the actress at the NYC “Coffee & Courting” dating event on February 22. Andoh gave us the inside scoop on her most memorable dating story, and why Bridgerton viewers can expect to see Lady Danbury and Penelope Featherington grow closer than ever this season.

"I think Lady Danbury sees a lot of her young self in Penelope," Andoh tells Brit + Co's Chloe Williams. "I think she's sort of an overlooked item who is shoved in one direction just as Penelope is an overlooked item who no one thinks is ever gonna get married. So both of these women in their young lives have had to understand that if they are gonna survive, they have to live on their own natural brilliance, strategy, intelligence, and gifts...She's team Penelope all the way. She's cheering for her."

Adjoa Andoh repeatedly talks about making season 3 of Bridgerton for the wallflowers — and she has some advice for the wallflowers who might be watching. "Our time will come," she says. "We just need to wait until the person who is the fabulous person comes...And the other thing I would say is don't wait and pine. Hang out with your friends have a fabulous life. The world is amazing and interesting and just dive into your curiosity. Think about what's fabulous about you and lean hard in on that, and don't wait for someone else to give you the confirmation that you are as fabulous as you should know you are."

Last year's Queen Charlotte gave Bridgerton fans the chance to see Lady Danbury (as well as Queen Charlotte and Violet Bridgerton) in a whole new light. For Andoh, the prequel allowed her to explore details about her character she hadn't thought of before. "Doing Queen Charlotte filled in a lot of the early life for me in concert with Shonda's enormous storytelling brain," she says. "So I could take all of that into season three. And the exciting thing about season three on that basis is that the audience is up to speed with [everyone]."

Not only does the series show viewers their favorite characters' pasts, but it also helps us understand their motivations. "Now because of my beloved Lord Ledger — actually, I had such a crush on Keir [Charles], the actor that played Lord Ledger, [he] made me giddy — because the audience now knows that Lady Danbury had this great love of her life, you understand the investment she has in the Bridgerton family more because they are his grandchildren," she says. "So I am invested in them because I loved him."

Speaking of love, we couldn't pass up the opportunity to ask Adjoa Andoh about her own memorable dating stories, and she immediately took us back to being a teenager. "I was a punk rocker — I still am inside — I saw The Clash and I loved them at 14 and it transformed my life," she says. "There was a boy who was a punk and I mean, it was as rare as seeing, I don't know, snow in August. He was a punk, I was a punk, and I just yearned for him. Eventually I drew him to me and I cooked him spaghetti bolognese."

"But no one had told me that you don't cook the Parmesan cheese in the bolognese sauce, so it was a new experiment for me," she continues. "He ate about four spoonfuls of it and he just went 'Adj, I'm sorry, I can't eat this.' And I took a mouthful of it and it tasted like well, food that had gone down and come back up, let's just say that. So, yeah. But he loved me."

Andoh might have had a hard time figuring out the bolognese sauce, but she knows how she likes her coffee — with cream! "Creamer has got a smack of indulgence about it," she says. But in addition to adding it to her morning cup of Joe, Andoh's already dreaming up new dessert recipes as well: "What I would do is I would go super strong chocolate ice cream — a Belgian chocolate ice cream, something like that — mascarpone, and then [put] creamer on top. You could go International Delight English Toffee Creamer, but I would probably go International Delight Berries & Créme Creamer just for the contrast."

And how would Lady Danbury take her coffee? "Strong with a little [splash] of creamer."

These Gooey Make-Ahead Cinnamon Rolls Are To Die For

Jessica Smith

Feb 15, 2024

We all love the idea of a morning spent wearing loungewear essentials and eating freshly baked cinnamon rolls, but who wants to get up at the crack of dawn (on the weekend?!) to do all that work? We knew there had to be a way to enjoy those gooey, yeasty sweet rolls without skimping on sleep, so we set out to create the perfect make-ahead cinnamon roll recipe.

You’ll prep the dough and shape the rolls the night before, then tuck them in to the fridge for an overnight rise. Pull the dish out when you wake up and pop it into the oven. By the time you’ve made one of your delicious coffee co*cktails and set the table, the rolls be just about ready to eat. Our dough is enriched with plenty of butter and eggs so it won’t dry out overnight. Plus, it’s easy to work with so you can master those cinnamon spirals.

Spike Your Sweets With This No-Bake Baileys Bonbons Recipe (24)

Cinnamon Rolls with Maple Cream Cheese Frosting (Makes 12 Rolls)

Recipe Notes: If you want to break up the work even further, you can make the dough and store in the refrigerator up to 24 hours prior to rolling out and shaping your rolls. Just be sure to allow it to come to room temperature before trying to roll it out. You can also make the maple cream cheese frosting in advance. Simply refrigerate in an air-tight container with a layer of plastic wrap directly on the surface of the frosting for up to 48 hours in advance. We packed our rolls tightly into a pan because it fits more easily in the fridge, but you can also space them further apart on a parchment-lined rimmed baking sheet if you’d like them to puff up a bit more. Note that we used instant yeast (versus active dry) so you can skip out on the extra step of activating yeast.

Cinnamon Rolls Ingredients

Spike Your Sweets With This No-Bake Baileys Bonbons Recipe (25)

Dough:

  • 4 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 2 teaspoons kosher salt
  • 2 1/4 teaspoons instant yeast
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup milk, warmed to approximately 100°F
  • 12 tablespoons unsalted butter at room temperature and divided into 1-inch pieces
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted, plus more for greasing your baking pan
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar mixed with 3 tablespoons ground cinnamon

Maple Cream Cheese Frosting:

  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter at room temperature
  • 8 ounces cream cheese at room temperature
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1-3 tablespoons milk (optional)

Equipment:

  • stand mixer with a dough hook
  • 9- x 13-inch baking dish or a “half-sheet” pan

Directions For Cinnamon Rolls

Spike Your Sweets With This No-Bake Baileys Bonbons Recipe (26)

1. Make the dough. In the bowl of your stand mixer, combine flour, sugar, salt, and yeast.

2. In a separate bowl, whisk together the eggs and warm milk.

3. Add wet mixture to your dry ingredients. Using the dough hook attachment, mix on medium speed until the dough forms a large cohesive mass. If the mixture still has dry patches of flour you can add extra milk, a tablespoon at a time, as needed.

4. Add the butter one piece at a time, waiting 20 seconds or so between each addition and continuing to mix for another minute or two after all the butter has been incorporated. The dough should be fairly sticky at this point.

5. Turn out onto a floured surface and knead a few times by hand to form a smooth ball.

Spike Your Sweets With This No-Bake Baileys Bonbons Recipe (27)

6. Place in a lightly greased bowl, cover loosely with plastic wrap and allow to rise in a warm area.

Spike Your Sweets With This No-Bake Baileys Bonbons Recipe (28)

7. After an hour, the dough should approximately double in size.

Spike Your Sweets With This No-Bake Baileys Bonbons Recipe (29)

8. Shape into rolls. When the dough is ready, turn out onto a floured work surface and punch down a few times before shaping into a rough rectangle.

9. Use a rolling pin to roll dough into a large, even rectangle, approximately 18- x 10-inches.

10. Brush the melted butter all the way to the edges of the dough. Spread the sugar-cinnamon mixture evenly over the butter, leaving a 1/2-inch border on one of the long edges.

11. Starting with the opposite long edge, slowly roll the rectangle into a log, and gently press to seal along the buttered edge.

12. Place the log seam-side down and, using a serrated knife, slice into pieces approximately 1 1/2-inches wide.

Spike Your Sweets With This No-Bake Baileys Bonbons Recipe (30)

13. Place rolls into a buttered baking dish and cover with plastic wrap. You may find it helpful to place the rolls with the loose ends tucked against the side of the pan to prevent from unrolling. Refrigerate overnight for a slow rise (the dough will slowly rise again for a second time). Alternatively, let them rise for an hour in a warm place in your kitchen.

14. The next morning (or after the second rise), pre-heat the oven to 350°F. If you removed the rolls from the refrigerator, allow them to come to almost room temperature, approximately one hour. You should also remove your frosting ingredients from the fridge and allow them to come to room temperature during this time.

15. When the rolls are ready, bake on a rack in the middle of the oven until set and golden brown on top, about 25 to 30 minutes. Cool in the pan on a wire rack for 10 minutes before frosting.

Spike Your Sweets With This No-Bake Baileys Bonbons Recipe (31)

16. Make the frosting while the rolls are baking. In the bowl of a stand mixer with a paddle attachment or in a large bowl with an electric mixer, cream together the butter and cream cheese. Mix in the maple syrup, and then the powdered sugar in two parts, mixing until smooth and fluffy. If the frosting is still too stiff, you can thin it out a little with some milk.

Spike Your Sweets With This No-Bake Baileys Bonbons Recipe (32)

17. Spread frosting generously over the tops of your piping hot rolls. Serve them up and enjoy!

We are now two for two on expecting Taylor Swift to announce Reputation (Taylor's Version) during an acceptance speech and getting an album announcement instead. After showing up to the 2022 VMAs in a "Look What You Made Me Do"-inspired outfit and announcing Midnights, Taylor Swift wore a black and white ensemble on the 2024 Grammys red carpet before telling the world her new album The Tortured Poets Department is coming this spring! Here's everything we know about the new Taylor Swift album.

What is Taylor Swift's The Tortured Poets Department?

Spike Your Sweets With This No-Bake Baileys Bonbons Recipe (33)

Image via Taylor Swift/Instagram

Taylor Swift's new album (which is also referred to as TS11) is called The Tortured Poets Department. Taylor Swift announced the album while accepting the award for Best Pop Album at the 2024 Grammys. While we don't know the exact vibe of the album, over the last year, we've gotten quite a few clues about what we can expect! Just like "Daylight" at the end of Lover sets up Midnights, I think "Dear Reader" sets up The Tortured Poets Department.

Taylor's official announcement features beautiful language that evokes the same emotion "The Lakes" does, which makes me believe TTPD will be similar to Folklore and Evermore (maybe it'll even serve as the third sister album Swifties thought we'd get in 2021?). But there has also been some discussion about another pop album that could be even more nuanced than Midnights. Well, during her Eras Tour show in Sydney, Australia she played yet another round of suspicious surprise songs.

While sitting at the piano, Taylor Swift takes her earpiece out and calls attention to the keyboard. "Do you hear that?" she says (via TikTok). "My damn keyboard's playing a synth sound." She then does what she almost always does when dropping an Easter egg: she smirks.

"That sound is how the album starts, mark my words," one comment reads. Another says, "That smirk tells me everything I need to know."

What is the theory of Taylor Swift's double album?

Spike Your Sweets With This No-Bake Baileys Bonbons Recipe (34)

Image via Matt Winkelmeyer/Getty Images

Throughout her stay in Sydney, Australia for the Eras Tour, Taylor Swift has been dropping lots — and I mean lots — of twos. @v_swiftie_ points out that in addition to holding up the number two while announcing The Tortured Poets Department, she's been playing more surprise song mashups than normal, and Taylor Nation has been posting Instagram stories featuring the number 2 instead of the number 13. Suspicious, Tay, very suspicious.

What is The Albatross about?

Spike Your Sweets With This No-Bake Baileys Bonbons Recipe (35)

Image via Taylor Swift/Instagram

During one of her Eras Tour shows in Sydney, Australia, Taylor Swift announced a new version of The Tortured Poets Department featuring exclusive bonus track "The Albatross." This new album already has some crazy track titles — all with pretty noteworthy meanings.

According to Collins Dictionary, if you call someone an Albatross, "they cause you great problems from which you cannot escape, or they prevent you from doing what you want to do," while a Bolter could refer to someone bolting out of a relationship (or bolting from a restaurant to a car like in this viral clip 🤨).

Meanwhile "The Alchemy" refers to the continual process of trying to turn something into gold — remember how Taylor Swift spent 6 years saying her relationship with Joe Alwyn was golden? Buckle up Swifties, TS11 is going to be a wild ride.

What does loml mean?

Spike Your Sweets With This No-Bake Baileys Bonbons Recipe (36)

Image via Taylor Swift/Instagram

At first glance, the twelfth song on The Tortured Poets Department, "loml," means "love of my life." Some fans were wondering if the song was a nod to Harry Styles since his Harry's House finale track is "Love of My Life" (the album also features a track named "Daylight" which is another funny connection to Taylor Swift). But Bonnie & Emily from ChatsAndReacts have got me thinking about the track in a whole new way.

Emily says that while Taylor might sing about the love of her life at the beginning of the song, she also has the potential to switch it up each verse. "Lie of my life" and "loss of my life" are HEART WRENCHING, and totally something Taylor would write.

When isThe Tortured Poets Department release date?

Spike Your Sweets With This No-Bake Baileys Bonbons Recipe (37)

Image via Neilson Barnard/Getty Images for The Recording Academy

The Tortured Poets Department is dropping April 19, 2024. At the Eras Tour shows in Tokyo, Taylor Swift explained when she started working on TTPD. “I’ve been working on Tortured Poets since right after I turned in Midnights,” she said onstage. “So, you turn in an album months in advance…and I’ve been working on it for about two years. I kept working on it throughout the U.S. tour and when it was perfect, in my opinion, when it was good enough for you, I finished it.”

"Soon you'll get to hear it, soon we'll get to experience it together," she continued. "I'm over the moon about the fact that you guys care about my music...Everyone’s like, ‘Why do you make so many albums?’ And I’m like, ‘Man, because I love it! I love it so much! I’m having fun, leave me alone.'”

The brand new album follows Speak Now (Taylor's Version) and 1989 (Taylor's Version). When Midnights was announced after Fearless (Taylor's Version) and Red (Taylor's Version), I wondered whether she'd have a two rerecordings, one new album pattern and it looks like that's what we're getting!

How many songs will be onThe Tortured Poets Department?

Spike Your Sweets With This No-Bake Baileys Bonbons Recipe (38)

Image via Taylor Swift/Instagram

Taylor Swift dropped The Tortured Poets Department song list February 5, and it's too good to be true! Here's the full tracklist for TS11:

  1. Fortnight (feat. Post Malone)
  2. The Tortured Poets Department
  3. My Boy Only Breaks His Favorite Toys
  4. Down Bad
  5. So Long, London
  6. But Daddy I Love Him
  7. Fresh Out the Slammer
  8. Florida!!! (feat. Florence + The Machine)
  9. Guilty as Sin?
  10. Who's Afraid of Little Old Me?
  11. I Can Fix Him (No Really I Can)
  12. loml
  13. I Can Do It With A Broken Heart
  14. The Smallest Man Who Ever Lived
  15. The Alchemy
  16. Clara Bow
  17. Bonus Track: The Manuscript
  18. Bonus Track: The Bolter
  19. Bonus Track: The Albatross

WillThe Tortured Poets Department have any featured artists?

Spike Your Sweets With This No-Bake Baileys Bonbons Recipe (39)

Image via Frazer Harrison/Getty Images

Yes, The Tortured Poets Department will feature Florence + The Machine on the song "Florida!!!" and Post Malone on the song "Fortnight." And after Taylor Swift teased a variety of collaborations by posting handwritten lyrics from artists like Harry Styles and Lorde, Swifties are wondering if The Tortured Poets Department will be the "collab album" we never got.

Another clue that leads me to believe this is true is the fact that the title of this album is so much longer than her other titles — and she refers to herself as "Chairman" of the department. Who are all the constituents?! Are they all the same artists who left Scooter Braun's management last year? Only time will tell, because as far as I'm concerned, surprises aren't out of the question until the TS11 era is over!👀

How can I buy The Tortured Poets Department?

You can pre-order a bunch of different versions of The Tortured Poets Department on Taylor Swift's website right now, includingThe Tortured Poets Department CD + Bonus Track "The Manuscript", The Tortured Poets Department CD + Bonus Track "The Manuscript" andThe Tortured Poets Department Cassette + Bonus Track "The Manuscript".

What is a tortured poets department?

Spike Your Sweets With This No-Bake Baileys Bonbons Recipe (41)

Image via Taylor Swift/Instagram

Taylor Swift has spent years talking about her anxiety, her sleepless nights, and her emotions. "My muses, acquired like bruises / My talismans and charms / The tick, tick, tick of love bombs / My veins of pitch black ink," she writes in her official Instagram post. "All's fair in love and poetry." My guess is that The Tortured Poets Department features a bunch of artists who all feel very deeply and have a similar ethereal, larger-than-life approach to their music.

As far as the name, it looks like The Tortured Poets Department could be referencing her ex-boyfriend Joe Alwyn's group chat name — "The Tortured Man Club" with Paul Mescal (who starred in Normal People while Joe starred Conversations With Friends. Both series are based on Sally Rooney books).

Aleena Malik

Alison Ives

Feb 27, 2024

Bachelor Nation, season 28 of The Bachelor has officially kicked off, bringing us closer to discovering who will ultimately receive that coveted final rose from this season's leading man: Joey Graziadei. With 32 outstanding ladies competing for the heart of this eligible bachelor, it's no wonder that The Bachelor holds the title of reality TV's longest-running dating show. The perfect blend of suspenseful drama and sizzling romance has no doubt made it a mainstay as appointment TV on Monday nights.

However, after a few less-than-stellar seasons, we'd be remiss if we didn't call out how the franchise has seen a dip in viewership and relevancy in recent years. The good news: Joey and the incredible women cast this season are raising the bar for the series with their emotional maturity, unique personal histories, and authentic connections — winning back old fans of the show like myself.

If you're tuning in this season (and you totally should be), here's everything you'll want to know about what's to come on this unprecedented season ofThe Bachelor!

Who is "The Bachelor" season 28's leading man?

This season, The Bachelor is led by the charming and sweet Joey Graziadei. Joey is currently 28 years old and is a teaching tennis professional from Collegeville, Pennsylvania living in Hawaii. In his free time, he enjoys hiking, surfing, and watching the sunset. He seems to have a big heart, and he says he has a lot of love to give!

Joey is also no stranger to being in the public eye. He was on season 20 of The Bachelorette with Charity Lawson. He ended up coming in as the runner-up, but that didn't deter him from seeking out true love and returning to the reality TV scene. Fun fact, he and Charity actually hold a record for the longest on-screen kiss on The Bachelor !

Throughout the season, Joey Graziadei captures the hearts of viewers with the thoughtful one-on-one conversations he shares with his dates. As the women reveal more about their past, their traumas, their health challenges, and their fears, Joey intently listens and validates them. Without missing a beat, he knows exactly what to say to reassure Lexi Young, the 30-year-old digital strategist from Atlanta, Georgia after she describes her journey with endometriosis and how it may impact her ability to have children. When 31-year-old Kelsey Toussant shares a heartbreaking story about her fractured relationship with her father, Joey responds with kindness and warmth and comforts her with his confidence in their blossoming love for one another. In a similarly difficult conversation with fan-favorite Daisy Kent, the 25-year-old with profound hearing loss and a cochlear implant, Joey is curious to learn more about how he can help her feel more comfortable throughout the experience. At one point he reaches out to touch her implant (with Daisy's encouragement) to deliver a powerful moment of visibility for the franchise.

But his emotional depth goes far beyond active listening on dates and suavely comforting partners. We also see Joey reveal his own emotional vulnerability with the women by expressing fears that his feelings won't be reciprocated. It's quite clear he still bears the pain from his last failed relationship with Charity. This season, it's been refreshing to see the dating take center stage and the interpersonal melodrama between the women take a backseat for once.

Yes, the rumors are true! Two of the female contestants vying for Joey's love are actually sisters. This is a first in Bachelor Nation and it's sure to make for some interesting moments. Lauren Hollinger is competing against her sister, Allison, in order to win over Joey. Lauren is a 28-year-old registered nurse, and Allison is a 26-year-old real estate agent. Apparently, they have dated the same guy before (although at different times), so I guess it isn't *too* strange for them!
