The New Device Approval feature in Trend Micro Home Network Security helps restrict other devices from connecting to your WiFi network.
How does New Device Approval work?
New Device Approval, when turned ON, requires permission when a new device wants to join your home network.
How to enable New Device Approval
- Tap the Home Network Security app on your mobile device.
- Tap the Menu icon, then choose Settings.
- Under NETWORK AND SECURITY, tap Access Control, then tap New Device Approval.
- Tap the switch button next to New Device Approval to turn it ON.
